Can I use BossSMS on an Android phone without setting it as my default app?Yes, you can. Some features will be limited on the app itself, but you’ll still have full access via the web browser. From the web platform, you can continue to: Run marketing campaigns, Send appointment confirmations, Schedule reminders, Send bulk SMS messages. Everything will remain fully functional — the only limitation is that "My Device" will no longer be visible on the web app when the mobile app is disabled or not connected. Step 1: Long Press on the app icon until you see the info screen. Press the "i" in the top right corner to open App Settings. Step 2: Tap Permissions. Enable SMS, Phone, Notifications & contacts by tapping each one and selecting allow.

Can I choose/limit which messages go through the app ?Yes, you can — through the app’s privacy settings. You have full control over which messages the app processes. To exclude personal or specific messages, simply mark certain contacts or phone numbers as private (these will appear with a strikethrough eye icon). Additionally, you can configure the app to only show messages from specifically imported contacts, giving you even more control over what’s visible within the app.
